TEHRAN -- Students of Iran’s Sureh Higher Education Institute and Germany’s Konrad Wolf Academy of Film are scheduled to begin production of six short films in June.

The three Iranian filmmakers of the project will head to Germany on June 18 to begin the project.

The two institutes previously coproduced seven short films including “Zar”, “Heil Hitler”, “Teahouse”, and “Stranger”.

In related news, German filmmaker Norman Richter of the Konrad Wolf Academy of Film made the documentary “Vali-e Asr” in 2006, which shared the best film prize of the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen (May 3-8, 2007).
