TEHRAN –- Statistics Center Director Mohammad Madad stated here on Wednesday that a comprehensive national statistics database was established on October 22, which was the National Day of Statistics and Planning.

IRINN quoted Madad as saying that business entities across the nation as well as all social, demographic, and economic developments are registered in the database and will be used as a reference for decision making at the national level.
It is a useful way for the decision makers of the country to find out any data changes related to population, society, and economy, Madad noted.
The database makes the facts easily accessible and brings the state-run economic agencies and private traders to a wider audience
