UAE ready to broaden all-out ties with Iran
@H= TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Visiting UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al Nahyan said on Wednesday that the United Arab Emirates is ready to broaden all out ties with Iran in political, economic, cultural and security affairs.He made the remarks in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki here on Wednesday.
At the meeting, the Iranian foreign minister evaluated the economic cooperation as well as political relations between the two countries and said that high ranking officials of both countries have always exchanged views and visits based on mutual respect in order to expand bilateral ties and the recent visit of the Iranian president to UAE was source of pride and blessing for both nations as well as countries in the region.
Good-neighborliness and deep-rooted ties between the two countries have created suitable opportunity for a new phase of bilateral relations, he said adding that capabilities and expansion of economic cooperation under the current global economic crisis requires a precise study and review, Mottaki said.
Under the wise guidance of both sides' heads of state, the current economic potentialities and joint investment should be doubled, he underlined.
UAE's foreign minister, for his part, said “We attach great importance to bilateral ties adding that these relations are based on brotherhood and good-neighborliness and the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) would be regarded as a turning point.”
UAE is ready to activate all-out relations between the two countries in political, economical, cultural and security affairs, he said.
