TEHRAN (MNA) – The value of trade between Iran and the European Union member states in 2008 surpassed €25 billion, up €1.5 billion compared with the figure in 2007, a report by the Statistical Office of the European Commission says.

Based on the report, Italy, Germany, and France were respectively Iran’s main European trade partners.
Italy was Iran’s major EU trade partner in 2008 with over €6 billion worth of transactions, according to IRIB
