Turkish delegation visits Asma-ul-Husna Poster Exhibition

TEHRAN -- The wife of Turkey’s Foreign Affairs Minister Sare Davutoglu accompanied by the Turkish delegation visited Asma-ul-Husna Poster Exhibition at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts on Saturday.
The exhibit, displaying typography posters themed on the names of Allah, contains a collection of 200 works in addition to a selection by masters of calligraphy Jalil Rasuli and Nasrollah Afjeii.
Artists from 35 countries to participate in Tehran poster biennial
TEHRAN -- Artists from 35 countries will take part at the 3rd International Poster Biennial of the Islamic World.
Artists from various countries including Turkey, Bosnia, Denmark, Mexico, the Netherlands, Italy, Sudan and Iraq will take part at the event.
The biennial will be held by the Iran’s Saba Art and Culture Institution but the exact date of the event is not defined yet.
New German translation of Sadi and Hafez poetry published
TEHRAN -- A German version of Sadi’s couplets and Hafez by Ali Ghazanfari is now available in Germany.
He has previously translated 200 of Rumi’s couplets and Hafez’s “Saqi Nama” (Ode to the Cupbearer).
The books were released by Engelsdorfer Publications in Germany..
