TEHRAN -- The Fajr International Poetry Festival to hold World and Iranian Poet Conference in Tehran from April 14 to 19.

“Plans were to hold the festival this past August. Then it was postponed to late October 2009 and was to be held concurrently in Tehran, Shiraz and Isfahan but that too was cancelled. Finally, plans are to hold it in April 2010,” Omidi who is also the secretary of the international section of the festival explained.
He previously told ISNA that they are trying to set an appropriate date for holding the conference annually.
