TEHRAN -- Strong winds gusting at 96 kilometers per hour swept through Boroujerd, Lorestan Province on Tuesday.

The windstorm triggered power outages in 45 villages in the Boroujerd area, Lorestan Deputy Governor Reza Ariaee told the Mehr News Agency.
However, he said no serious damage has been reported so far.
