KHARTOUM, Sudan (AP) – The peacekeeping mission in Darfur has confirmed that four South African police advisers have been abducted but says they are in ""good shape."" Noureddine Mezni, a spokesman for the joint United Nations-African Union mission known as UNAMID, says phone contact was made with the abductees early Friday. The unarmed peacekeepers — two women and two men — had not been heard from since April 11, shortly after they left their team site outside Nyala, the capital of South Darfur. Last year, two international staff members working for UNAMID, two international aid workers, and a staff member for an international aid organization were abducted.
