Georgian painters to hang works at Tehran gallery

TEHRAN -- The Shirin Gallery will launch the Iranian New Year by holding an exhibition of paintings by two Georgian artists, David and Giorgi Gagoshidze.

The exhibit will begin on April 8 at the gallery which will display paintings by these two artists. The showcase will run until April 13.
The 51-year-old Giorgi Gagoshidze has held ten solo exhibitions in different countries including France and Germany. He has also participated in 21 group showcases.
The 28-year-old David also held two solo exhibitions in Tbilisi and attended four group exhibits as well.
The event is cosponsored by the Georgia Embassy in Tehran, Iran’s Cultural attaché office in Tbilisi and ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) Cultural Institute.
The gallery can be found at 145 North Salimi St., off Andarzgu Blvd. in the Farmanieh neighborhood.
