TEHRAN -- Polish theatrical couple Katarzyna Kapela Timingeriu and Jacek Timingeriu is scheduled to hold two workshops on acting and the art of clowning in Tehran.

The first workshop entitled “Actor, the Source of Picture and Music” will be held to illustrate the connection between theater and music, Jacek Timingeriu told the Persian service of ISNA on Sunday.

The second workshop will focus on circus acts and the techniques of clowning, he added.

The workshops have been organized by Amir Afshari and Soheil Araabi, the directors of the Av Theater Group in Tehran.

He said that he knows little about Iranian theater and added, “These workshops are the beginning of our familiarity with Iranian theater.”

The couple will sojourn in Iran for two weeks. They also perform a play for the participants in the workshops.

A selection of the participants will accompany Katarzyna and Jacek in a trip to Varzaneh Desert and Gavkhuni Marsh in the central Iranian province of Isfahan.
