Charkhsaz visits injured hajjis in Tehran

TEHRAN — Director of the Rescue Organization of the Iranian Red Crescent Society Nasser Charkhsaz paid a visit to the hajjis who were injured in the Mina stampede in Tehran, Mehr reported on Friday.

About 20 patients have been hospitalized in Shohaday-e Yaftabad and Moheb Hazrat Fatemeh Hospitals in Tehran, Charkhsaz said.

The patients include the hajjis who got sick and those who were injured during the stampede, he added.

He also said that the transportation process of the dead has been discussed and they will be repatriated as soon as possible.

One of the patients hospitalized in Moheb Hospital thanked doctors and nurses who provided the patients with good medical services in Red Crescent Hospital in Mecca.
