Summer snow in northern Iran

altTEHRAN – Heavy snowfall which was unprecedented in summer swept across Kelardasht city, northern Iran, on Monday.  

50 centimeters of snow has covered the tourist resort of Kelardasht which was unprecedented in 50 years, the Mehr News Agency reported. 
   
The drains flooded and water has overflowed many streets of Kelardasht. The snowfall inflicted widespread damages to the gardens and houses in urban and rural areas.
Snow also landed on mountains in north Tehran.
