TEHRAN – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in a message addressed to his Guinea-Bissau counterpart Malam Bacai Sanhá, congratulated the Independence Day of the country.

In the message on Saturday, Ahmadinejad called for closer ties between Tehran and Bissau in all areas and said, “I hope bilateral relations will be promoted with the support of the Muslim people of the two countries.”
