TEHRAN – Sierra Leone’s new ambassador to Tehran, in a meeting on Saturday, submitted a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi. 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed Tehran-Freetown relations and emphasized the necessity of expanding bilateral ties in all spheres.

Sierra Leonean ambassador, for his part, emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation in all areas and said President Ernest Bai Koroma plans to pay a visit to Tehran in the near future.
