TEHRAN – Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on Saturday and handed over President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s letter to him. 

During the meeting the two sides discussed bilateral ties and mutual cooperation in various areas.

Vahidi also met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Safar Abiyev in which they discussed regional security and the dispute between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Nagorno-Karabakh enclave.
