Motherly Love Wins Berlin Festival Award

TEHRAN The Iranian film Motherly Love, directed by Kamal Tabrizi, won a prize at Berlin Film Festival as one of the best films for children. According to a statement released by the Public Relations Department of Farabi Foundation, at the closing ceremony of the 49th Berlin Film Festival on Sunday, Motherly Love from Iran and The Tic Code by Gary Winick from America were selected by the juries as best the films of the festival.
The prize of the film festival, some 15,000 German marks, was given to the Iranian and American directors. Another Iranian film screened in Berlin was Glass Agency, directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia. This film was screened in the forum section and drew a large crowd of audience.
