Five Iranians sentenced to hanging in UAE: report

altTEHRAN – A Dubai court has sentenced five Iranian nationals to hanging on charges of smuggling and selling illicit drugs into and in the United Arab Emirates, ISNA reported on Wednesday.

 They were arrested in January 2011 when the UAE maritime police seized a ship carrying over 2.5 tons of illicit drugs.
