Leader offers condolences over death of former defense official

TEHRAN – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Friday offered his condolences over the death of Ahmad Qadirian, a former advisor at the Iranian Defense Ministry.
  
Qadirian, a former official at the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps who had an influential role in dealing with counter-revolutionary elements during the first years of the revolution of 1979, died at the age of 78 on Friday.
