Turkmenistan has close ties with Iran: Turkmen president

TEHRAN – Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow said on Saturday that Tehran and Ashgabat have the best relations in the region and the 12th joint economic commission, which was held in mid July in Tehran, helped consolidate ties.
 
The commission and its meetings, which are regularly held in the capitals of the two friendly and neighboring countries, is indicative of the fact that relations are developing day by day, Berdimuhamedow said.
