Baku hosts Iranian film festival

TEHRAN – A lineup of Iranian movies are on screen during a festival entitled “Days of Iranian Cinema”, which opened in Baku on Saturday.
The director of Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Abbuzar Ebrahimi-Torkaman, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Adalat Veliyev, and some Azerbaijani officials attended an opening ceremony, which was held at the Nizami Ganjavi International Center.
The event organized by the Iranian cultural attaché’s office in Baku is screening “A Cube of Sugar” and “Today” by Reza Mirkarimi, “Track 143” by Narges Abyar and “Painting Pool” by Maziar Miri.
