Nusratkhon Valiev appointed Iran judo coach

Nusratkhon Valiev has been appointed as new head coach of Iran national team on Wednesday.

The Uzbekistani coach will be assisted by an Iranian coach Hamed Malek-Mohammadi in the national team.
Nusratkhon Valiev, who has coached Uzbekistan national team from 1992 to 1998, was a member of the Soviet Union coaching staff in the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games.
The 58-year-old coach has worked with Iraq, Syria and India national teams as well.
 Nusratkhon will coach three Iranian judokas Javad Mahjoub, Saeid Mollaei and Alireza Khojasteh in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
