TEHRAN — A trained dog in the city of Khalkhal, northwestern Iran, cleans streets by collecting trash bags left along the streets.

The dog does that after midnight when the streets are almost vacant and flees as soon as it sees someone, IRNA news agency reported.

It grabs the trash bags with its teeth and takes them to trash bins or landfills.

It is said that the dog is trained by one of the municipality workers.
