TEHRAN – “Mystery of Creation”, which mingles poems by Rumi with a fusion of Persian and Western music, has recently been released by Iranian and Australian musicians. 

Composer Mehdi Danai and vocalist Bamdad Falahati from Iran have contributed to the album in which Australian artist Eugene Gilfedder narrates poems by Rumi in English.

A number of Iranian musicians, artists and literati came together at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran last Friday to review the album.

The 12-track album is distributed by the Australian-based Sufi Art Group.

“Mystery of Creation” was recorded on the Iranian label Si Lahne Barbad.
