TEHRAN -- Iran’s National Foundation for Computer Games (NFCG) and the Game Connection, a major international exhibition of computers games in Paris, have signed an agreement in Tehran to boost further cooperation.
The agreement was inked between NFCG Director Hassan Karimi Qoddusi and Game Connection CEO Pierre Carde here on Sunday, Persian media reported.
Based on the agreement, the Game Connection will help the foundation to invite top video game developers and companies from around the globe to Iran for further cooperation.
According to Pierre Carde, Iran certainly has the potential for growth in the Middle East and can become a magnet for the game making industry in the region.
Carde hoped to continue further cooperation with the foundation in the future.
For his part Karimi Qoddusi also said that Iran’s computer games industry is unknown among many other countries.
“This agreement will help win the trust of many international companies leading to joint cooperation with the Game Connection,” he added.
He also said that the Tehran Game Convention due to be held in April 29 and 30, 2017 will be held in collaboration with the Game Connection to discover the game developers across the country.
