American festival to host two Iranian movies

TEHRAN – Iranian films “The Salesman” and “Exit” will go on screen at the 6th edition of the Irvine Film Festival, which will be held in the American city on January 21 and 22.

Asghar Farhadi’s acclaimed drama “The Salesman” is about Emad and Rana who move into a new flat in the center of Tehran. An incident linked to the previous tenant dramatically changes the young couple’s life. The film will be shown in the feature narrative section.

“Exit” directed by Babak Habibifar will be screened in the short narrative section of the festival.
