TEHRAN -- President Hassan Rouhani has appointed Ashraf Borujerdi the new director of the National Library and Archives of Iran (NLAI). 

Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi-Amiri, who was appointed to the position last November, was the former director of the NLAI.
