TEHRAN – Presidential contender Ebrahim Raisi has reiterated the Supreme Leader’s words, saying it was the people who removed “the shadow of war” from Iran.

Speaking to a large crowd in Hamadan on Tuesday, Raisi said it is because of the martyrs that after 38 years since the revolution Iran is “secure”.

Elsewhere in his speech, he said, “Taking a look at the living conditions of people makes one sad.”
