56% rise in foreign tourist visits to Mazandaran

TEHRAN – International tourist arrivals in Iran’s northern Mazandaran province, neighboring the Caspian Sea, grew by 56 percent in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21) compared to the same period last year.
“51,775 foreign travelers visited Mazandaran province during the first half of the year,” CHTN quoted provincial tourism chief on Saturday.
“Chalous, Kelardasht and Ramsar were the most visited cities that hosted 14,380; 12,570 and 9,147 foreigners respectively,” Delavar Bozorgnia added.
