TEHRAN – Mohsen Rezaee, secretary of the Expediency Council, has said the issue of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is no more a subject of discussion in the parliament and the Expediency Council.

“But the Majlis (parliament) and the Expediency Council have been holding discussions regarding the government-proposed bills on money laundering and Palermo [Convention],” Dana quoted Rezaee as saying.

He further added that joining this international organization is an issue that must be decided by the country’s top leaders.
