TEHRAN - Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, a senior spokesman for the Iranian armed forces, said on Sunday that Iran bears “message of peace and friendship and not war or bloodshed”.

“Iran defends nations and countries. We do not intend any aggression like the U.S.,” he told IRNA. 

He added, “The Islamic Republic of Iran manufactures any equipment it needs to defend the country and does not need anyone’s permission.”
