Ashura music, rituals festival makes debut in Shiraz

A Turkmen musician performs during a festival dedicated to the rituals and music related to Ashura, the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).

Some 150 artists and musicians from across the country went on stage at the festival, which was held for the first time in the southern city of Shiraz on Thursday.
