Iran to Launch World News TV Network

TEHRAN Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Broadcasting (IRIB) Ali Larijani said on Friday Iran is to implement a plan intended to transmit the IRIB programs to people across Europe and Middle East.
Speaking in the third meeting of the cultural representations abroad, Larijani stated part of the funds needed has already been provided to realize the plan while talks are under way in this regard with the Arab Set Network.
He voiced IRIB's readiness to cooperate with the cultural councilors and said the IRIB produces 2,300 hours of movies and serial films annually 700 out of which could be broadcast in other countries.
He concluded by saying that the cultural representations could cooperate with the IRIB to introduce the organization's products to other nations.
