TEHRAN Interior Minister Abdolvahed Mousavi Lari said here Monday that sound news and information is effective in the prompt and correct decision-making.
Addressing an educational seminar arranged by the information and press center of the Interior Ministry for the ministry's directors, Lari said authenticity, speed and accuracy are three key features of news.
Lari said that his ministry, which is in constant touch with the remotest parts of the country, can transfer news soundly, speedily and timely to senior officials of the country.
He called for reflecting the realities as they were and said this would help prevent the disturbance of public opinion.
He said the officials can adopt sound and comprehensive decisions only when they are provided sound news and information in the shortest possible time.
