TEHRAN Despite several differences between Iran and Azerbaijan, the possibility of the transfer of Azeri oil via Iran's territory still stands, said Elham Aliyev, the advisor to the Azerbaijan's state-run oil company.
Aliyev expressed his country's readiness to discuss the issue with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Many energy experts in Azerbaijan consider the transfer of Azeri oil via Iran to the world markets more economically feasible than other routes.
