Iran Participates in Sharjah Intl. Book Fair

TEHRAN The Islamic Republic of Iran is maintaining an active presence in the 19th Sharjah International Book Fair.
According to an IRNA report, five Iranian publications as well as the cultural mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dubai and an Iranian computer institute are taking part in the international book fair. Iranian publications at the fair have attracted many visitors and they have sold more books compared to last year.
442 publications from 22 countries have put on display over 86,000 titles of books at the fair which will be open to the public until next Friday. Sharjah is one of the seven emirates constituting the Persian Gulf littoral state of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
