The Dar-ul-Fekr Publishing House, the leading Syrian publisher of books on Qoranic and Islamic sciences, has participated in the 8th Holy Qoran Exhibition this year. The publisher has put on display some 25 new titles of books at the exhibition.
* On the occasion of the Year of Imam Ali (AS), a special pavilion at the exhibition has been allotted to special activities on this occasion.
According to the director of this pavilion, a competition is being held at the pavilion on the remarkable words of Imam Ali (AS). Some 14 participants in the competition will be awarded prizes at the closing ceremony of the exhibition. Meanwhile, some 450 titles of books about Nahj-ul-Balaqeh and life of Imam Ali (AS) are on display at the exhibition.
* The Cultural Heritage Organization has put on display some 90 works of art at the 8th Holy Qoran Exhibition. The works have been created by 39 artists from different Iranian cities.
* Some 40 rare manuscripts of the holy Qoran have been put on display at the exhibition. These remarkable copies of the holy Qoran have been obtained from the libraries of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis), Golestan Palace, Qoran Museum and Reza Abbasi Museum.
* The pavilion of children and young adults is one of the most active sections of the exhibition. In this pavilion, children and young adults can take part in different classes, including those on the recitation of the holy Qoran, Qoranic stories, Qoranic concepts, painting, collage, memory-writing and calligraphy.
* The Great Islamic Library of Bosnia-Herzegovina which dates back to 500 years ago has taken part in the exhibition.

* Five remarkable tableaus displaying miniatures by Master Farshchian dazzle visitors to the 8th Holy Qoran Exhibition.
Works of other miniaturists like Mohammad-Baqer Aqamiri, Mohammad-Reza Esmaeilzadeh and Majid Mehregan are also on display at the Art Section of the exhibition.
* Master Adnan Sanqanqi, the renowned Syrian calligrapher, has put a new calligraphy copy of the holy Qoran on display at the exhibition. Sanqanqi has been creating calligraphy works related to the Holy Qoran for the past 23 years. He worked on the new calligraphy copy of the holy Qoran for 16 months.
* Haji Mohammad al-Qayoum, a Japanese national and one of the participants at the 8th Qoran Exhibition, is the translator of the holy Qoran into the Japanese language.
Al-Qayoum believes that the holy Qoran should be translated into different languages. He translated the holy Qoran into Japanese some 12 years ago.
