Monday that some 13 Iranian films took part in the 3rd Iranian Film Festival in Belgrade. It considered nine of the films to be of very high quality.

The paper added that the films ****Leila****, ****Sara**** and ****The Lost Cousin **** by Dariush Mehrjouei indicated the depth of Iranian films.

The film ****Sara**** is Mehrjouei's best film. It won the Golden Doll of the festival and its leading actress, Niki Karimi, won the Best Leading Actress Prize.

The paper reported that the Best Screenplay Prize went to ****Sara****, but the jury of the festival also praised the film ****Leila**** for its scenario.

The Belgrade-based daily underlined that the films ***Motherly Love****, ****To Be or Not to Be****, ****Red Ribbon****, ****Color of God**** and ****Children of Heaven**** enjoyed very high quality.

Meanwhile, the Iranian films ****Where Is the Friend's House****, ****Blue Scarf****, ****Last Scene**** and ****Actor**** were screened during the 10-day festival.

The 3rd Iranian Film Festival, which was held in Belgrade from March 1-10, was warmly welcomed by the Yugoslav people.
