TEHRAN The General Assembly of Baseball, Softball, Cricket Federation of Islamic Republic of Iran held an election ceremony headed by the Vice President of Physical Education Organization, Tahereh Taherian, in the Conference Hall of Office for Joint Affairs of Sports Federations.

During the ceremony, Dr. Mohammad-Baqer Zolfaqarian was appointed as the chairman of Baseball, Softball, Cricket Federation of Iran for four years.

Meanwhile, M.S. Sawhney (Juggoo), a member of Iranian Cricket Council (ICC) expressed his congratulations to Zolfaqarian, wishing him a successful career.
