Back Injuries
Backache is a common pain among the martial art players.
Karateists suffer injuries of back less than the aikido fighters. Overburdening or overstretching muscles of the back can cause bad pain and damages.
How to Treat Back Pain
Having overstretched muscles, you have to apply icebag -- a waterproof bag filled with ice -- to the place of pain three times a day for 20 to 30 minutes to reduce ache.
You have to stop training exercises and have a rest until the pain is alleviated or you develop a chronic backache.
Elbow Swelling
Elbow is a part of body that plays a major role in fighting. On the other hand, it is so vulnerable and therefore it is easily swollen, bruised or inflamed.
In this case, you have to bind up the elbow with a bandage after applying an icebag.
