150 UAE Companies to Take Part in a Fair in Tehran

ABU DHABI Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industries announced on Monday that more than 150 UAE companies would take part in the Second Exclusive Trade Fair in Tehran.

The chamber said in a statement that the fair would be open on more than 95 percent of the span of the fair on June 10-13.

Different companies from the UAE are expected to put on show variety of products, including foodstuff, fabrics, mechanical and engineering equipment, decorative instruments, cosmetics, construction m

The chamber said the fair is to be organized to expansion economic relations and cooperation between Iran and the UAE.

Iran has been one of the major trade partners of the UAE.

Based on the latest statistics, commercial transactions between the two sides last year surmounted to more than $3.13 billion.

$2.72 billion was that of imports by Iran from the UAE and $408 million that of exports by Iran to the Emirate.

The first UAE fair opened in Tehran in June last year.
