TEHRAN-The Governor of Robat Karim Mohammad Movahed announced: "Since this city enjoys historical monuments and beautiful locations, it can turn to a place for attracting domestic and foreign tourists. On one hand Robat Karim has many caravansaries and attractive historical locations and on the other hand the location of this city in the main path of Silk Road makes it quite interesting for the foreign tourists." According to Movahed, the buried Abbasi Carvansari in the Ma'mourin Hill, the stone caravansary, the old cellars in the texture of the city and the old region of Bazarak are some of the attractive locations of this city which have the potentiality to attract tourists.

Movahed emphasized on the revival of tourism industry in Robat Karim which can provide job opportunities for the deprived people of this region. He then added: " Robat Karim's governorship will utilize all its facilities for the performance of any creative project which would make this city a the historical location for the tourists. The governor of Robat Karim also added: "The location of Expo International Exhibition, Imam Khomeini International Airport, railroad and cheap labor work and the short distance of this city to Tehran are some of the specific features of this city."
