Cinematheque's New Programs Announced

TEHRAN -- The 16th session of a three-month program of film screening at cinematheque of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art has been announced.

Films from Iran and other countries will be screened during the program. The screenings will take place on Sundays and Thursdays at 16:00 and in five sections under the titles of Works of Cinema Pioneers, One Filmmaker One Vision, Short Films and Documentaries, Iranian Cinema and World Contemporary Cinema.

Following are some of the titles: The Wind Will Take Us Away, by Abbas Kiarostami Songs of My Motherland, by Bahman Qobadi Abandoned Station, by Alireza Raisian Apocalypse Now, by Francis Ford Coppola In Praise of Love, by Jean Luc Godard The Son's Room, by Nanni Moretti The Others, by Alijandro Amenabar Promise, by Sean Penn Other films from directors such as Charles Chaplin, Ingmar Bergman, Ben Turpin et al will also be screened and reviewed during the session.
