TEHRAN -- The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei here on Thursday underlined the need

for administration of justice in the society, IRNA reported. The Leader made the remark while addressing a group of the country's officials and a large number of ordinary people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Ghadir, which marks Prophet Mohammad's (Peace Be Upon Him) appointment of first imam of Shiite Muslims, Imam Ali (AS),

as his spiritual heir. Men in today's world, in spite of significant scientific progress, are in need of justice more than any other time, Ayatollah

Khamenei reiterated. As to hegemonistic policies of the big powers and their indifferent attitudes toward the public opinion, the Leader regretted that world oppressors impudently announce that the world

public opinion cannot prevent them from attacking Iraq. Ayatollah Khamenei further noted that contrary to their propagandistic hue and cry, oppression does not last for ever and the

will of the justice-seeking nations will finally prevail. Prior to the Leader's remarks, President Mohammad Khatami congratulated the Leader, the government officials and the Iranian

nation on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Ghadir.
