Iran calls for joint market with Senegal

TEHRAN (Press TV) -- Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmud Hashemi Shahrudi has called for the creation of an international and joint economic market with Senegal.
""Iran and Senegal enjoy appropriate and growing trend of bilateral relations. Further expansion of ties will be in favor of Muslims and the Islamic world,"" IRNA quoted Shahrudi as saying in a meeting with Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade. ""Tehran believes that Islamic countries should promote their ties to help settle ongoing problems,"" he added. ""The Islamic world will face a hopeful future in line with paying attention to Islam and reinforcing vigilance by Muslims against conspiracies of enemies,"" he added. The judiciary chief termed Iran and Senegal as two important countries in two sensitive regions of the world and said, ""Both countries have potential to enjoy deep ties in all fields particularly in legal and judicial areas."" He referred to the establishment of Islamic foundations and an international and joint economic market as a necessity which would lead to close ties between Muslims in the world. Wade called for expansion of Senegal's cooperation with Iran and making use of Tehran's economic, political, and cultural experiences, saying the two sides face no problems in this regard.
