TEHRAN -- “The 20-Year Outlook Plan is a blueprint for real progress in Iran,” Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said here on Monday.

At a gathering of university lecturers and researchers, the Leader asked officials to devise practical approaches for the realization of all the goals of the Outlook Plan, including the objective of making Iran one of the world’s academic centers.
There should be no delay in this work and the High Council of the Cultural Revolution should draw up a comprehensive academic plan that can be implemented by the country’s universities, Ayatollah Khamenei added.
“If we don’t take research seriously, we will remain dependent on foreign academic sources,” he observed
