TEHRAN (Press TV) -- The Iranian athlete Ehsan Mohajer-Shojaei reaches the semifinal at the 12th IAAF World Indoor Championships, currently being held in Spain.

Mohajer-Shojaei qualified for the semifinal after finishing the men's 800-meter preliminary stage in one minute, 49 seconds and 14 milliseconds.
According to IRNA, the athletes are slated to hold the semifinal event on Saturday evening.
The 2008 IAAF World Indoor Championships is taking place in the Spanish city of Valencia.
