October 4, 1998 - 0:0
Introduction --Tang-e-Bijar gas field is located in the west part of Iran, near border line of Iran-Iraq countries (60 km south east of Naft Shahr city). The field distance from Ilam and Kermanshah cities is about 50 km and 125 km respectively. Tan-e-Bijar gas field consists of two anticlines, Tang-e-Bijar and Kamankuh which are separated by a small syncline. Preliminary studies, based on the test results of exploration and delineation wells, have estimated gas reserves up to 5.0 TCF in both anticlines of Tang-e-Bijar gas field.

Objectives Development of Tang-e-Bijar gas field is planned for production of about 350 MMSCFD of natural gas and treatment of the gas to the specifications of pipeline quality for domestic use. General scope of the work of the project is presented in the following sections. Reservoir Data Reservoir data and gas composition of the field are presented in Production Facilities Production rate will be achieved from at least 9 producing wells.

Produced fluid should be processed in the central gas treating plant. Gas treating facilities will include gas/liquid separation, condensate stabilization, gas sweetening, H20 & HC dew control, sulfur recovery, mercaptan R.U. and utilities. Product Specification Product specifications are presented in the table of sales gas.
