Israel will be wiped out if it makes stupid act against Iran: commander

TEHRAN – Basij Commandant Mohammad Reza Naqdi has said the Zionist regime will receive a firm response if it conceives of launching an attack on Iran.
He made the remarks in an interview with the Mehr News Agency on Friday on the sidelines of a rally held in Tehran to mark the International Qods Day.“We are waiting until Israel makes such a stupid move, then we will wipe them out,” Naqdi said when asked about asked about Iran’s response if attacked by Israel.
According to Sharia (religious laws) all Muslims must rise to liberate occupied Islamic territories, but today international conventions do not allow such a move “so we seek to find a pretext (to take on Zionists) and if they provide such a pretext for us we will show them what we will do.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Naqdi highlighted the importance of International Qods Day and said the resolve to liberate al-Quds is becoming stronger among Muslims.
Naqdi also pointed to Palestinian and Israeli leaders’ peace negotiations and said that the “compromise negotiations” are Zionists’ desperate attempts to save themselves
