TEHRAN – The Iraqi Kurdish forces spokesman has claimed that seven Iranian soldiers were killed when they strayed into a minefield laid along Iran’s border with Iraq’s Kurdish region. Jabar Yawar told Reuters on Thursday the Iranian troops were new to the area and had accidentally entered a minefield.
