TEHRAN – Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan has said that Iran needs no one’s permission to promote its security and will seriously seek what is needed for the country’s development.
The Iranian scientists and the Armed Forces have the capability to meet the country’s needs in defense area, he said in a ceremony held to mark the National Week of Government in Tehran on Sunday.Elsewhere, he said that the U.S. has waged an “oil war” with the help of Saudi Arabia which has led to sharp drop in oil prices.
However, the Iranian people “have changed the restrictions to opportunities” and will never divert from the path of “independence and dignity,” he added.
